Ah that could be were its going wrong they are just vag genuine . Ill check the product code and see after then.Hopefully autobahh can sort it cuz its pi**ing me off now and i'll ave to take the others back again. Looks like i've got to go to my seat dealer and i hate going there cuz there all donuts!

that's strange...
that brings you back to square one...

so its still only the 2 faults that you are getting? And no missfires anymore right? How about boost? still the same? And only motormanagement light or also TCS?

Back to square one indeed! car is fine just engine management light is on. boost holds 4 faults on all cylinders! i dont want to think about replacing the loom but it may be the only option.

Could the map i've got on the car be keeping the light on or the ecu up the shoot.

Cheers Reuvers. I'm going to have JKM look at the wires when i go on holiday as i just don't ave the time to unwind each coils earth and live to find the broken wires. So i'm dropping it down there for the week and the can mot it as well. LOL lazy but all works out well as i'm on holz and there cool with having the car week.

Right I've got this sorted and the coils need to come from seat. i hade VAG ones in there hence the same part code and that was the problem.Dam a lot of pissing around when i should of just gone to seat. Aw well i'll no next time and my local auto factors did try there best to help as they thought these were the geniun seat ones as well.

Happened to me, local garage got me a pattern coilpack from local motor factor rather than genuine, cleared mis-fire but kept giving EML and 'open circuit' reading on that cylinder.

Replaced with VAG coil pack from main (VW) dealer & not had problem since.
