Its something to do with the fact that if they are insured on the car, then this in there eyes is obviousely so others can use the car, and in all cases our parents are older than us (Dont start the ridiculing yet!!) so they see it that theres a chance that your are going to be driving the car less, hence reducing the risk of accident, saying that, my dads got a pretty damn quick 55 plate Octavia VRs and he dont hang around in it and he's 53!! Fookin youth of today, you wouldnt catch me thrashing around her majestys public highways!!!!!LOL

Greenlight have been the best by far, 1 years no claims at 24 was £700 with revo stg 2, full turbo back, fmic, ko3s, tip, alloys etc
directline was £1200 completely standard!
my policy has just gone up a bit but thats only because i moved into a higher rate postcode, when i renew i'll be 25 so it should go down again :)

If i was under my dads name it would of been about 700 for me, if I had been 21 and not lost 2 years no claims Bell would of insured me for £684 fully comp, should of not driven for the like 5 weeks till my 21st but hey!

I'm 20 driving a ibiza 1.4 mpi(group 4) kept in garage, 5000 miles a year mam is on policy, 1 years ncd adn norwhich union wanted 800 i couldnt find anything cheaper anywhere adrian flux quoted me 1500 eventually i got insurance for 740 with a broker called Premuim Choice, using a insurer called NiG but i think i might just get a cupra when i turn 21 and see how much i can get insurance for on that. because i'm getting ripped off and nothing i can do about it.

Ive never ever gotten a cheap quote from Adrian Flux, god knows why not as everyone else seems to be able to!

Depends on where you live, points you got or have had, how long you've been driving for, and sometimes previously driven cars i found.

I went from a 1.3 8v to 1.6 8v to 1.8 16v to 1.8 20v Turbo to Revo'd 1.8 20v Turbo
