i take it the guage that come out wasnt plumbed in then? otherwise it would be as simple as unplugging the pipe and reataching it to the new guage. oh and wiring in the power.

No it wasnt plumbed in unfortunately :(

Also whereas with the old one the vacuum piping plugged directly into the back, with the new one it plugs into a module, which then is attached via wires, to the boost gauge:shrug:

I think a forge TIP and 007p (from awesome gti) will be ordered this week too!

I would like a pillar gauge pod but don't need the 2 slots they come with :(
Anyone in the mids that can help out a fellow SCN member fit this damned gauge?

Special Awesome 007p.... nice! Maybe try running it the other way round and see what you think?

Good work with the boost gauge. How did you manage to fit it in the vent, I bet it was a git to get right!

Cheers chap;. I'll leave the boost gauge as is for now, I have ordered a load of red silicone 4mm tubing though to tidy the engigne bay up.

There was already a cheap, nasty gauge in the airvent already, so luckily with just a bit of modding the new one fit n really easily!

I also, yesterday, placed an order for Kestrel DAS6 polisher from polished bliss, so i'm looking forward to attacking the swirl marks on the car!

It was there when I bought it, and imo it doesn't look all that bad. In the future it will be reloacted to the pillar along with a nomad pod and A/F gauge.

Not as of yet mate, they will be in the next few weeks - just unsure whether to paint them red again, or maybe go black or even green?

Good looking car mate! How would you rate The Wheel Specialist as me and my friend are thinking about using them for a refurb and powder coat finish! Are they a friendly bunch  thinking of getting them done in the next month!

Dunno if its just me but the front passenger side wheel looks like it has a slight lighter patch on it:shrug:

You need some spacers on the rear and it will look spot on!

Update - Just ordered a Green Cotton Twin Cone airfilter, to replace the standard airbox and panel filter setup I currently run.

Also I should be debadging the 'CUPRA' lettering on Friday all being well :)

The wheel is a nice uniform colour mate, no patches as I can see :)

I rate the wheel specialist highly and would reccomend them to anyone tbh - very friendly and helpful :)

Spacers, unsure yet tbh.
