Front dampers are feeling really tired and almost feels like the OSF is bottoming out in some corners.

Was looking at coilovers and the Bilstein B12 kit but because it's a daily driver and i'm in my 30's now it needs to be comfortable and practical.

Going to go down the route of Eibach Pro springs so slight lowering, but not OTT matched with Bilstein B4 gas dampers on all corners.
Makes sense to do whilst the front end is in bits getting poly bushed and clutch fitted so think will fit new tie rods, ball joints and track rod ends all at the same time so it's nice and tight for a while :D

After all that, it's time for some engine performance mods and sort some of the bodywork out

Cheers folks.
Trying to keep it subtle and comfortable as well with the mods.

Got the wheels powder coated again today as they had some scuffs and chips on the edges and i pranged one myself recently

Yeah? Nice one. I had him do the exhaust on my last car as well. Simon's a good guy.

Bought these today

My dampers are gone at the front so this should lower it slightly without being uncomfortable.

Cheers Badger, looking forward to seeing it myself.
Think it's quite minimal on the FR but as it's a daily i didn't want it too stiff or too low

The standard ones are bottoming out on the front so made sense to replace it all the same time as fitting the poly bushes.
Going to have new tie rods, track rod ends and ball joints done as well.
Should make the front end feel as good as, if not better than new.

Thanks mate.

Colour is down as Titanium according to the place that powdercoated them but it's Anthracite to me.
Colour changes slightly in certain lights like real Anthracite does.

Na didn't go on the dyno. I've only got a Cone filter and cat back stainless.

I had to leave early as well. I forgot I had someone coming to see me at 11.
I've got some pics too but I'll need to go through them and edit the regi out.

Booked back into Simon's Custom Exhausts later this month for more exhaust work.
Getting another pipe made up so i have the option of using the baffled straight through backbox, or just a straight unbaffled pipe instead (running backbox just now)

Lacquer on door seems to be getting so thin it's failing on the driver side door as well. Not peeling, but washing off! A small patch appeared when i got it last year and it's getting bigger now.

Ahh right. I uploaded all the pics of the cars to my FB, but didn't edit any of the registrations out.
Do you want me to leave out the pics of yours when i post them in that thread?

I liked this one someone else got of my car (permission from them to use it)

Have you taken off your egr cooler ?

No yet. It's near the bottom of a long list of things to do, with not much time to do them i'm afraid :(
