Well that’s encouraging !!
I will try to go and try to force an update at my local Seat resseler.

Did the above facelift in the photo require an update?
I’m picking up my Leon on Friday and it had the apple car play look posted in the stock photo at the start of the thread.

the dealer is running an update and I hope it updates it to the look above.

The latest software has "full screen" full link. The earlier versions don't.

The correct update isn't available yet TPI hasn't been released yet. If we lucky update should be available before Christmas

Hi all, I am facing the smaller Apple Car Play size and it drives me insane! Is it confirmed that an update is coming out to make the screen 'full screen' so to speak? I was told by the garage that because my car was the 1st edition released in Sep 2020 it didn't have the hardware to cope??? Thanks!

The update for 17xx to 1890 is out, I can send it over - however you should really go to your local dealer for it so it can be recorded as being performed

Still nothing for 16xx (latest is still 1672)

I’ve just had my software updated and I hate the new full screen.

Yes CarPlay has a larger surface area, but the resolution seems to have been reduced.
The buttons are huge, text is huge and LESS information can be displayed on the screen despite the screen area being larger.

please tell me there is a fix for this. I need to be able to increase the resolution and make everything smaller. Using Spotify was a nightmare.
