Hello, my car is equipped with the 8.25 inch display and when using CarPlay a part of the display is blacked out which causes the CarPlay to minimize. I tried checking for a software update but it says there isn’t one available through the car’s system.
I’ve seen a Reddit post of someone that received a 2024 Ibiza that doesn’t have the problem from factory and wanted to know if this update is available to install in my car too.
Here is the installed software version in my car

Unfortunately there is nothing to do for that blank idiot bar...
I am trying to solve it since 2021. Only one thing to do and this is changing the unit unfortunately

I’ve seen posts of people that tried to manually update their software with a file from the internet. Don’t you think this could work if it’s possible to get the right software version to download?

Dont think Seat will ever release an update that will enable fullscreen. There are fullscreen in the newer 2024 models, but thats also a sligtly different unit, they change the button layout.
