Hi people,
I see quite a few mk4 Ibiza Owners have 20mm rear spacers fitted? what is the benefit of having these and where is the best place to get them from?
Cheers

They're mainly for the looks and to fill the arches with a wider stance.

Here's a pic of mine spaced now, sorry about the quality but you'll get the idea

I'd recommend Andy Collard.

Quite a few people on this forum including me have bought from him.
The spacers are good despite the low price.
Out of the box they bolt straight onto the hubs and the wheels bolt straight onto the spacers. No messing around. :)
I've done just over 20,000 miles on mine and they're still mint.
The post is from last year so I expect the prices have changed.
But if you contact him I'm sure he'll help you out as he's a really nice bloke.

Regards Guy.

I have a 2003 Ibiza TDi 130 with 17" Ibiza Cupra Alloys fitted, i am planning in the future to fit Eibach springs.
I contacted Bill (Badger 5) on her and he reccomends 15mm spacers for my car does everyone agree or should i go for 20mm??

i have 15mm rear spacers on mine and i dont think you'd notice the 5mm difference between that and 20mm very much at all. They were £50 second hand, AmD techniks with longer bolts, no problems so far and wouldnt expect any either :)

Did you have to take of your rear wheel and measure as he says?? or did you not bother and just buy them and they went straight on?
i have the same car as you so would be good to know as i want some in the future but want to buy from someone reccomended on here with the same car as me.

Any 17'' wheel with ET35 or more will fit with 20mm spacers... mine are 17 x 7.5 ET35 with a 20mm rear spacer making the rear wheels ET15, snug fit ;)

If you don't intend to move the wheels between the front and back then yes you can just get 2 ET35 and 2 ET15 if the wheels you want come with those offsets.

I had a quick chat with him on the phone to make sure I was ordering the correct ones then paid for them with my credit card.
No measuring needed.
Seem to remember they were delivered overnight to where I work.
Kit contained two spacers and ten securing bolts (5 for each spacer).
Removed the rear wheels and the spacers went straight on.
Took me all of 20 minutes to fit and they look great. :)
