Hi all, had to share my excitement with you all lol:funk:. I recently put on a 3" miltek down pipe to complete the full system, just had a full service and always been run on 99Ron fuel.
Decided to get it rolling roaded today @ Amd as i was up that way just to see if my bhp had increased from previous figures 206bhp/232Ib ft, I was hoping my car would reach 210bhp and to mine and Amd's suprise it got 235bhp/270Ibs ft on a stage 1 Revo map which was put on last yr!!!!!!!

yeah want to post it but dunno how to upload pics on here always seem to have trouble? ill try and do it now though.

thats great news what about the other runs though? looks like the power is all over the place possible sensor issue?

i agree with james there (RS6) seems to be abit everywere :( get some logs done mate see if your MAF is ok and maybe N75 is goin mad and askin hi boost then low??

Maybe they didn't do 6 full power runs, although they usually build up to the full power run rather than doing it 1st and then easing off on the later ones.

Test 2 & 4 don't even look like they're from the same car.....

Somethings not right, I think they've given you someone elses plots & yours is in there somewhere

I agree with Mork, looks like loads of different graphs have been bundled together. I wouldn't worry too much about rolling road figures. Mine isn't making high figures on the RR but it is a weapon on the roads, surprises alot of other quick out of the box cars. Also I think D.Ks graph was funny when AmD rollered it for the first two runs and it made 262bhp and 270bhp. They supposigbly left it to cool down for 5 mins lol (which would have had major heatsoak) and re run it and it made
281

They are all previous figures on there too. test 2 in green was what it was standard just with filter and dv and cat bk, then with stg1 map it got test 6 witch was 206bhp all last year, since then all its had is 3" 100cell hi flow cat, full service,99 fuel and yesterday was test 4, test 2 in red , and test 1 . after it got 235.2bhp test 1 on the other runs clutch pedal sensor fault code kept coming up.

you'll be getting about 8-10bhp and 10-15lbft of torque purely down to the temp and time of year

example being i never see past 215bhp and 240lb ft in the summer

but im getting 255lb ft and 226bhp at the moment due to the colder denser air

id agree you;re pulling a healthy 225bhp and 250 lb ft im reality summer and ambient temps

What's so funny Brad ?

The day we did that run the car was put straight on the rollers after a run down the A2 & M25 then sat in traffic at the toll's and went straight on the rollers when it arrived at AmD

Have to agree with brad my mates Ibiza Cupra is running at 240 bhp and it drives like a dog it's awful power comes in very lumpy , peak power just tells you half the story. Have to admit doe those figures sounds strange from 206-235 just by changing the downpipe that's 29bhp difference wow

Im not dissing your car mate as its lovely in every way, i just think the run of 281bhp wasnt true as you cant get rid of heatsoak just after a few mins of cooling down with a fan blowing at the intercooler, ive gave my car a bit of stick and you could still feel the engine had heatsoaked an hour later when driving it for the first 5 mins. I had even left my bonnet up for an hour in -2c conditions while i was working on it. I also heard through a couple of other sources that they have had to get their rolling road tested and a new license or something. Im not slating down AmD, as they have always been very helpful with me and always sorted me out even if the cost was alot of money, i'd go on other rollers to get a verification :)

Not saying your figures are wrong but me an a few friends have had similar issues with AMD's rollers and I do believe there is serious discrepancies with them.

I personally have never had them on other rollers but then my friends have and have always had different power results elsewhere.

A pure example was a friend that has a 2 year old S3 that he took to AMD for a stage 1 map was 25bhp down on power and once he had the map done never made the power they said it would, yet they said there is nothing wrong with it

Yet saying all that the guys down there are always helpfull and seem to know there stuff.

I personally have given up caring about figures now and just enjoy how the car is on the road.

Just my 2 pence worth, no flaming please lol.

I aint figure chasing anymore, ive had the Revo settings set up properly to what the car can do atm (settings will be played around with again soon when i get a new forge actuator as the spring in my current standard actuator is very soft) and its quick on the road, it consistantly made figures in the 260's on R.t.e.c.h rollers. ive come up against another stage 2 LCR who said it was 280bhp and i even had a passenger and i was pulling on him. Cant wait for the forge actuator :)

I made 215 and 243 lbt at badger today but on stage two :( but was told considering the miles on the car it's no a bad figure as theres alot of engine ware ect ;)
