I paid £40 to have my full turbo back milltek system fitted on mine. I know awesome wanted £120 so i was happy with the £40. They had to do one cut on the old exhaust but ive got that so if i need it to go back on for whatever reason, i can with a quick weld or clamp :D

Cheers, did you do the decat/cat pipe to? Also did you wrap over the sensor hole then cut the wrapping or do you wrap around it?

no i didnt bother with the decat, not worth it imho as is under the car. i wrapped over the hole then cut a slit in it to allow for the sensor.
its surprising how much wrap is needed to do just the down pipe, i used the whole roll on the dp. if you have enough after doing the dp wrap it again as 2 layers is better than one. also word of warning dont wear decent clothes as its messy stuff :)

Whats the reason in wrapping guys?

retains the heat, hotter gasses flow better, helps keep engine bay temps down. also with our style dp i feel the wrap slows the cooling process down meaning the dp will less likely to crack on the bend, this has happened a few times now. all small positive things so its worth doing imho.

Did someone just say 4 hours to fit a downpipe/decat?

I walked into a tyre/exhaust garage near mine, had a whole stainless system, downpipe, decat, mid and rear box fitted in an hour £120.. lol

Are they that much different? I know where the cat joins the midpipe its a bolted flange fitting where on the lc180 like mine its sleeved, but the rest of the system is bolt on?

1 hour for £120. They saw you coming mate. Awesome charge £60 an hour and they said 2 hours to fit on a PD.

That's a shame i only paid £40 mates rates after work :p
I paid £40 but thats wasnt mates rates. Just was just normal work time lol. And the did a cracking job like everything they do with my cars :D

How much was on the roll you had? It would just be my luck that I haven't got enough.
