312 conversion and the spare wheel !!

On the sport tdi 03 I am very happy to say that even the spare does not catch the bigger calipers etc, so thought when I had a puncture that I was screwed but they are fine.

Just in case you have that experience - that is on 205 45 16 spare

Yes, I found that out recently - on a cold, dark, early wet morning when I burst a tyre on a rock, and had to change the front left...

even if it had, could always have swapped front to back and put the spare on the backs,
