just noticed ya got a toledo stuart_hatch. the weight of that boot must mean -3mpg at least :p

I think its more my right foot that lowers the mpg, least its not as bad as when my maf went and best i could get was 22mpg :S

For reasons that I don't understand, my economy notably improved during the really cold weather. Most of my driving is round town though and I never get anywhere near a respectable range from a tank, 240 miles is about normal. Most I ever had was about 350 I think.

I've had just over 400miles/tank in the S4 on mostly motorways...before, which I was very impressed with, especially as it has the same size tank as a leon....so works out at 33-34mpg.

Average consumption is ~27mpg, with a range of about 350 miles.

And the "worst" to date was just under 100 miles at the 'ring.

Will see on the 11th if I can do "better" than that at donington :)

Driving to the ferry on holiday with the kids in the car and mainly on the motorway we managed to get an average of 53.1 mpg. Was very impressed with that.

must have been something wrong with mine. I only used to get 20 mpg out of mine(trip would say about 23-24 mind) Either that or your all a bunch a grannies

normal day to day i get 200/220 a tank - mainly warm up and town driving

on a run to blackpool last week squeezed nearly 380 before i feared a run out

i reckon i could have just hit 400 if id had a litre on board as back up

currently at 540 miles on one tank.. and the reserve light just clicked on.
have you hugged your TDi today?
