Gotta say as a fellow 5 door owner I'm loving this thread those tt rims look the nuts, would never have thought to put em on an ibiza myself, inspired.

I took the idea from my previous polo forum. I also see a few older ibizas with them and always liked them. I've never seen any 6Js with them so I just went for it and hoped for the best lol.

Thanks mate :)

ALso did you have a diferent spoiler on it at the start, the later photos show a Cupra one but it looks different on the earlier ones.

Just had a play with my new megs G220.

Heres the results of SSR1 and Black Hole.

Also installed the second washer and will put a how to guide in the FAQ section.

Without doubt the best looking 5door MK5 i've seen on here!

Those wheels seem to make it look at absolute beast. 1st pic kinda looks like a leon, with it looking so long i mean.

Best 5 door, best mk5 period IMHO ;-) stance is spot on, not too low and really sets off the TT rims.

Never used ssr1 what's it like to work with, what pads do you use?

I have to disagree the fact it's not just another boc replica is what I like about it most

Thanks mate! Really appreciate the comments!

It was the first time I have ever used a machine polisher so its all new to me. Wasn't sure if I was using to much product, or not enough.
SSR1 you are supposed to work in until it turns dusty. Then buff with a micro fibre cloth. I used it with a megs finishing pad. There are still a few small scratches, so I may try with the polishing pad next time.

I worked in the Black Hole using a CG's Hexlogic finishing pad. It didn't look like it was doing much when working it in. But when I wiped it off, I was greeted with a fantastic shine!

It won't be turning in to a replica any time soon. Only body changes will possibly be gloss pillars, side skirts and boc headlights. I am also considering with the idea of wrapping the rear valance in gloss black vinyl. But that will be an experiment.

Really appreciate all the comments Im getting! Thanks guys & girls! :)

I agree with everyone, great looking 5dr. Ever thought of getting the cupra lights? Would finish nicely :)

Ahh scrap that saw the above comment lol...but def go for the headlights!

No spacers are used at all. I'm vinyling a few interior bits at the moment. Will be doing my pillars gloss tonight. Heads lights will be on the cards as soon as I have a settled job.

Cheers!

I thought about that. But they wouldn't be black on the inside like the bocs. I won't be tinting the rear lights. I like how the back looks.

Heres some shots of vinyling.

Only the middle 2 are black. the left and right side are left silver.
