It's always a pain putting a price on modified cars like this.

Are the wheels going with it? Or do you have standard ones you could put on for sale? Obviously as they are genuine BBS it's possible you could get more money selling them separately.

I'd say about £3k give or take £200. If all the work you've mentioned gets done to it too then it's an absolute steal for somebody, they'll be getting a well sorted Ibiza. But people are rarely willing to pay more than the going rate for modified cars, even with excellent service history (clutch, DMF, cam belt etc all done as you describe).

A dealer probably would probably only give you £2.5k tops, I reckon it could be best shifting it privately. But then you've the hassle of mongs coming to see it, drive it, then kick tyres etc :(

Hmm pretty much my thoughts mate, the silver wheels I have in my readers ride are now black and my winter wheels which means I could sell the BBS separately with the pcd adaptors, it's just such a shame to let it go for such a small amount.

Might just get a mk1 mx5 and run both.

That is such a nice example.

If this was 6 months down the line, I would be knocking on your door right now. :(

IMO, you'd get more back by taking all the mods off and selling them on. Then either sell the car privately, or trade it in. Such a shame though. :(

£20 - wind deflectors,
£200 - weitec coilovers, still have originals
£200 - 17" zcw angels in black,
£200 - bbs rc 040's
£20 - 20mm rear spacers,
£50? - whiteline rarb,
£20 - green stuff panel filter,
£200 - fr bumpers, still have originals
£20 - lcr splitter,
£30 - homemade honeycombe centre grille,

= Approx. £1k

+£3,500 for the car?

Good luck! :)

So tempted to have this off you, especially seeing as though the number plate is my initials

Tbh I would want about 4k as is stands, I personally think its worth it but hey ho, keeping it is fine too

Quite a bit of car for around £3.5/4k there IMO. If only insurance wasn't a b*tch for me at the minute. If I was a year older, with a year more NCB, I'd be very tempted lol...

On another note, how much would you be looking for the BBS wheels? PM me if you want.

I'm gonna keep the car mate, so the wheels are deffo staying, they are my favourite bit!!

I can insure this (including all mods declared) and a modified mx5 together for just under £700 a year so it's not too bad
