lol forget all these aftermarket leds ones guys. No point getting your hopes up, you aint finding these A6 style rear lights ANYWHERE. Someone needs to actually make them and get them into production. Im gona send the pics off to a few modding companies and see if and what they can come up with.

Do you think we don't know that?
You need to send them to the actual light manufacturers ;)

Hmmm loving these might have to see if there is parts to do this also i have a full set of spare lights due to having one broken outer lense but other than that one rest are fine. If someone reckons they can make them and once done wants to hook me up i could maybe let them have them.

Mark

The issue is that the brake and tail lights only have a connection in the outer clusters. The clusters mounted on the boot lid are only fogs and reversing lights. So you see it would require some rewiring in addition to the cluster manufacture.

Good luck with it, I'm sticking to mine :p

You melted your though or you got a replacement now?

The top two lenses (the clear parts) are crystal instead of the OEM frosted look, other than that they're pretty stock looking. When I bought them I had only seen that picture you posted and when they showed up I thought they were a bit blingy. I got used to them after a while and had a lot of compliments about them.

I've got the stock ones on at the moment though as I melted one of the lenses lol ooops

I'm experimenting with the LED bits and the stock lenses I'll let you guys know how it goes.

just had an email back from my customer ,

they dont do cuircut boards , mainly do keypads with leds but asked me for some drawings etc

have posted some pics , and see what they say

fingers crossed , as their not far from me too

wha did them aftermarket ones melt or you put leds in your standard lights

They melted while I was drying them out in the oven mate lol - I got sidetracked by the missus and before i knew it one of the four clusters was toast!

Remember what I said mate:

It wouldn't be a simple aftermarket light cluster to sell to people as an easy swap. They would have to wire the brake and tail lights up the C pillar and into the boot lid...

That is a very good point, some people won't have the know-how on how to do, although help on here is available.

Can't really see a manufacturer getting involved in that case?

the aftermarket ones made are done so they can be swapped for original, usually replicating the original connectors

the main problem is with aftermarket lights is they are essentially a fashion item so you see only limited supply of choices sadly
