ABS Sensor

I'm getting my ABS and TCS lights on randomly every few starts. When I turn the ignition off and on again only the ABS light is on then that goes out after a few seconds.

After a search it seems it may be the ABS sensor, so, taking one thing at a time, what's the best way to clean it before I have to think about replacing it (it's a wheel off job presumably?)

Cant remember the link, but apparently its possible for the abs cable to get interfered with (ooer) by the coil especially when damp, and give out a fault code.

It suggests re-routing it, i shall see if i can find it.

Any more help on this would be much appreciated... Seems to happen every 2nd or 3rd start and only when the car is cold if that sheds any light? Pads were changed last October and seem fine
