acetone/ water injection

has anybody tried injection acetone and water in there water injection system

i know that methanol is the best but the reason i ask about acetone is that i can get a unlimited amount of it for nothing

is acetone not basically octane booster???

ie. not be better off pouring it into your tank karl ..PS it causes dermititus (typo) and is cancerous ...but u know that

water/ methanol will raise the octane rating aswell which is part of the reason it helps reduce detonation.

from the link in my first post it seems to imply that acetone does the same jobe as methonal. Maybe not as good as methanol but hey
