im keeping my standard bumpers on my tdi

O how times change:clap:

Rebadging your car as something else is pretty lame in my view. Those people that put FR badges on when there car is not an FR, lame. Take the badges off yes. But each to there own, if that's what your into why stop at renaming your car a cupra R, why not rebadge it as an audi or S3.

Note: M badges on BMW's are put on if you have Motorsport (Msport) parts factory fitted to any BMW, they are a factory fit option. M3 badge is not though. The M badges are like Sline badges for audi's.

I dont see the point in changing badges, I have a TDI FR and would never dream of making out its a -R.

If I wanted a R then I would of bought one, I have taken my FR badges off and taken the SEAT badge off - left the TDI on as it is and always will be a TDI.

Reason I took my FR badges off was to make it look less 'special' - I don't want liitle chavs knowing its a FR cos I think it makes it look more apprealing to keying/theft. This is partly the reason why I left the TDI on too, who wants to try nick a TDI right fair.....

TDI and proud of it!

I can understand people using badges to undrrate their cars but not overrate them. I know someone who had a mk2 golf that had had some work done. He had a 1.6 badge on there for a while, just so that all the chavs in their saxo's, think 'ah I'll have him', and then were met by a nice surprise :D. I think the lumpy cam probably helped, they all thought it was just running badly :D
