ok being on the net for the past 3 weeks researching on how difficult it is to change rods. i've made up my mind now that this is something i want to do myself as it would be a great learning experience and save me money in long term (i hope) . after reader jame judd and graham's rr its enspired me to crack on myself . advice i need is that i've been told you can change the rods with the block still in the car (connected to engine mounts) ? lastly the list of tools i will need ?
i'm guessing.
1. basic tool kit with spanners , wrench and allen and torx keys
2. jack stands
3. plastigauge
4. ring expander
5. hammer
have i missed anything out ? and lastly steps
