Aerial Removal Help

Just went and bought a honda S2000 aerial for my leon cupra r, as I had one on my mk4 golf and it looked ok.

But when I tried to take my old one off it just unscrews to a certain level, then just keeps on turning and turning and its driving me nuts, Anyone got any ideas???

i managed to mine eventually. Hold the base and pull really hard in one swift move. Its not easy and will take a few attempts. It feels like your going to rip the base off lol

Try using a small spanner, thats what i did. Unscrew aerial, lay horizontal, place towel or something on roof as not to damage, fit spanner in gap, spanner just big enough to go either side of the thread and lever it. Hardly any effort needed at all and no risk of damaging threads in base or denting roof.
