I have decided not to replace my front Bosch aerotwin ones yet, after only 9 months with VERY low mileage they started making horrible noses and streaking. I clean my car and wipers obsessively so wasn't that they were dirty. I bought these the year before last as well and they lasted under a year but I drove further then so thought nothing of it. Are there any cheaper brands that make flat retrofit blades?
They are not cheap so I wan't that impressed. How long are wipers meant to last roughly if you don't drive that much/far?

i have just bought and fitted the polo rear aero wiper to my 06 plate ibiza.
it looks quite neat and actually wipes the windscreen really well.
if your mk4 ibiza is the facelift one (6L like mine) then no alterations to the polo arm, cap or blade are required - took me around 5 mins to fit and another 5 moving the washer nozzle with a pin to align it properly.

part codes are:
WIPER CAP - 6Q6 955 435 D - £1.94 +VAT
WIPER ARM - 6Q6 955 707 C - £15.72 +VAT
WIPER BLADE - 6Q6 955 425 A - £5.91 +VAT
TOTAL - £27.69 (INC VAT)

these are the prices from the nottingam vw dealership in west bridgford as of today - not ebay cheap i know but less hassle trying to return the bits if they are wrong, plus no waiting for delivery.

aimez - if you have the same polo wiper arm as i do then the code for the wiper blade is the one above - the code for the wiper arm should be on the inside of the wiper arm itself if you are not sure.

the facelift ibiza has a new style wiper assembly at the back - a really crappy plastic one - not the old metal arm with the hook type fitting on the end, and it was very easy to replace it with the polo one. i have seen the pre-facelift ibiza wipers and they are completely different so thats why the polo wipers need to be altered to fit
