Lets not forget propane injection as a for of tuning. You'd be cookin with gas.

Why propane?? Water-alcohol is much better and safer. It fits diesel and petrol too. Better because it doesn't harm engine so much than propane.

It lower intake and exhaust temperature. Cooling boost temp and combustion temp too.

A small amount of gas helps release a lot more of the energy from the diesel fuel. Alot more. It does need to be finely metered to make sure it doesn't destroy the engine and turbo. Water methanol would be a system that could work with the propane to keep egt down. I think kits over here are about £300. Apparently a lot of the highly tuned cars run almost 100% water with better cooling results and no negative effects on combustion and power.
