I think it does as it was raised by a MK3 Owner, this is the reply I got from the web page
Dear SEAT customer,
Your vehicle with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) VSSZZZetc has a Takata driver airbag, but is currently not affected by a Takata airbag recall.
Recalls are managed based on comprehensive analyses conducted by the manufacturer worldwide since 2016. The main criteria are the age of the vehicle and the climatic conditions in which the vehicle is operated (heat and humidity). Recalls are regularly expanded based on the results of these tests.
However, we ask you to continue checking the SEAT Website regularly for Takata airbag recalls that may affect your vehicle. You should do this repeatedly as the vehicle lists are updated regularly.
We appreciate your trust in the SEAT brand and look forward to continuing to count on your loyalty.
Sincerely, SEAT
Please note that if your vehicle has recently been repaired, it may take some time to update the repair status. Please check the status of your vehicle again in a few days.
and this on the web page itself If your SEAT was produced between 2009 and 2018, it could be fitted with an airbag manufactured by a company called Takata.
