My alarm is going of for no reason.... Can I change the values via Vag-com so it just dead locks the car, and stops the silly beeep beeep beeep from the horn...

my dad has a Ford Galaxy and its doing the same thing...
except it only seems to do it between 12 and 4 in the morning!

Check the comfort control module meas. blocks for the last alarm sources, this will help you figure where this comes from.

Found that the middle seat passenger side had broken the moulding around the inner sensor..... So it would get a naff reading and hence beeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeep .... funny also around 2am.....

hi finally got round to checking the car with vag com!

alarm has been behaving itself for a while but now its gone mad again

we tryed accessing the comfort control module measuring blocks for various modules and they all said "No response from controller"

im guessing we should be looking at Interior Monitors?

Any ideas why it isnt communicating with the modules? Its a HEX-CAN USB lead and a Ford Galaxy 2002

try checking u dont have a partly seized door lock/ boot lock have had problems with these before, also check wiring between doors, also check the ecu for damp/ water damage.

i tried vag-com on my leon after and i could access some modules but not interior monitors, any ideas why im having trouble with these?
