Yeah they sure can. . Just get down to your dealer they take a photo and then swap 'em!
No they dont replace them, they fit a vent kit in them to get rid, but if it already has the kit, then they'll replace them iirc.

Mine had the kit already and they still steam up:(
The dealer took some pics of it and is trying to get them replaced under warranty.

Ah mine steam up, what does this vent kit look like (Apologies if its a daft question) so I can take a look if mine has it on. Oh were these fitted as standard after a certain date??

I don't know how they look like because my dealer checked for it.
Normally only the ones of 2006 have them standard....like mine does.

Look's nice Ant, liking the mirror cover's!:D

Modding is like eating Pringles, one you pop you cant stop. Once you start modifing it tend's to go on and on!

 Wasn't the whole point of getting a diesel to save money not to spend yet more on mods?

Yeah it was, and still is. However I had a huge change in job prospects which is meaning quite a large salary increase,

However there are just a couple of bits i want to do to my car now.

Ok, here is what i am doing.

I am getting the side strips colour coded, along with seat side strips. And some small Tdi badges for under the indicators. Phase 2 wipers all round and rear badging ( once all out)

Keeping the Cupra wheels in anthracite as i think they suit the grey colour and will probably bolt on the Brembo's.which i have in the garage.

Remap, along with Cupra intake and filter.

And i'll be happy.

I may later in the year update the bumpers to new spec ibiza or may not.

and thats that, and just a hell of a lot of polishing on this one i think.

actually liking being back to stealth, and still cracking fun in this car, plus how many people kepe the FR standard bumpers nowerdays, not many
