Alloy Spare Wheels

I have just bought a set of 4 standard 16" TDI Sport Alloys. I only wanted 1 as a spare, so 3 others up for grabs. What do you reckon I would be able to sell these for??

Are they just wheels or are there tires on them? And are they like these?

Yes they are the ones, come comlete with Michelin Energy tyres.

Aye, me aswell. So there's your other 3 sold. If the price you bought 'em for was reasonable, then we could all have a spare alloy, and i can put my (slightly) kerbed one in the garage.

Are they all mint wheels or are there any damages?

I also have a set of 4 of these alloys for sale - picked up and fitted a set from a brand new Reference sport yesterday so my old ones from my 04 TDI Sport are up for grabs, either singly as spares or as a set. The tyres are all in good condition with at least 4/5mm of tread all round and the alloys have no scuffs etc.

How much would you want for one with a tyre.

Are they kerbed or marked at all? I need to replace a kerbed one so don't really need another like it.

No, they're not kerbed or marked - I was surprised at what good condition they were in when I bought the car about 4 weeks ago, so they were fine then and I've not done much on them, only from the drive to a parking bay at work. They just need a bit of soap and water (which I;m planning to do this weekend).

M4ttl, I'm a bit confused why you are swapping them. The one's in the photo look just like the ones on my Ref. sport. Does the new Ref. Sport have different wheels?

i think we're still talking jtmac!, they are diff. i believe, similar apart from raised edges along the (5) spokes, tried googling for you but couldn't quite find anything to show you, saw some recently and didn't think they were any better or worse than previous, just different

Yes, they are different - new ones are slightly more towards chrome in colour and have raised edges on the spokes, so not hugely different but enough.

Looking at your avatar pic though, jtmac, the ones you've got on your Altea look like the ones I have available - ebay item number is shown in my post above if you want to have a closer look.

Looks like Viking is having one of them - so any of you guys interested in the others? Hope so, missus is giving me grief about having them lying around!
