I curbed my alloy really bad today when i was parkin up outisde the post office. This is the 1st major curbing i have had and im hating the scuff marks along the outside of the rim. They are the fr 17 alloys and its the front passenger that has been damaged( seems to me that the silver coating has come off as u can see the white primer etc) What would be the best option a refurb or buying a new alloy. Few questons i have tho are ... do the refurbs make the alloys look brand new or are they just an improvement and secondly how much would a new alloy cost new?
thanks

New alloy would be £200+ from a stealer.

Your best bet would be a refurb - cost you around £50 - the repair should be pretty much as good as new although if you put the wheel next to a brand new never used one you might be able to tell the difference

check ebay, usually single alloys on there!
in the case of a refurb, the wheel may not need a full refurb, they may be able to repair the damage by sanding and painting which should work out cheaper!
i'd take it to a refurbers and get a quote!
