Almost ended my car.

Well the other night i went to halfords to buy me some gear oil, and i thought whilst i was there ill fill it up, but i didnt know where. Finnally i found a hole on the engine. So i poored it in and it then came right out the bottem of my car. Ive just found out it was a hole to acces the bell housing. Yes im a knob. Has anyone done this befor and if so, what happened?

you mean you've just lubed up your clutch?

you need to take the gearbox off & replace the clutch.

i remember reading another thread like this recently ...outcome new clutch i think, he had smoke coming up i think n clutch slipping.

i didnt just poor into the first hole, i asked my mate who's supposed to be a training mech, well if it the cluch its a bit cheaper.
