Hey Guys, just a quick question...

Ive got a couple of Alpine Type Rs in my boot- and ive got to transport a Computer Server from one site to another.

are these magnetically shielded?

basically i dont want to destroy this brand new server as the customer will not be a happy Bunny!

Cheers

It's very unlikely that any car audio will be magnetically shielded, there's just no need for it.

But most computers are encased in metal, which usually does a decent job of protecting the hard drives. And it's only the hard drives that would be affected.

The only time I've seen speaker damage is on a CRT that had been resting on the driver. The lovely rainbow colours didn't do anyone any good!

cheers guys - alpine confirmed that they are not..

got the solution though..

As its a server with HOT SWAP drives, ive just removed the Hard Disks and kept them with me. and put the server in the boot.

Normally because of my Subs i dont put any computer equipment in my boot. Partly because the 2 12's take up[ most of my boot!
