Always wanted to know why when my Cupra (petrol) is started the revs are higher than normal idle for a min or so then they settle back down?????

cold start mate, used to be known as choke on old cars with charbs

a little more fuel is used to make it run smooth until it's warm

Its nothing to worry about mate, just the cold weather.

if u blip the throttle it will settle down!
