just a quick update, here is the old picture

yes does look like orange peel, sometimes its a ba£tard to prevent.. i usually use a etching primer. sorts it out

Nah there isnt orange peel, just the texture of the plastic. I cleaned it 3 weeks ago and didnt notice any. Going to take it off and machine it soon too give it more gloss.

yeah i thought that...i machined my bay too gave it some nice gloss!

Heres mine as it is at the minute

Very pleased with how it looks, though the rocker cover needs re powder coating, and all redundant wires need tucking away or removing but looks neat enough in the pics
