Since i have had the car i have hardly done any decent cleaning on it, i did give it a clay, polish and wax with my das-6 polisher early in the year but its well over due.

I've booked in with a local friend of a friend called LC Autoclean to have a winter protection cleanup done on it :) on 14th can't wait.

Next year it will be getting a full detail done

So local company LC Autoclean came today who are a friend of a friend.

Winter protection and hand enhancement was completed, I don't know the names of all the products he used so I'm waiting for him to do his write up then I can link to it.

Bearing in mind the only work this car has had done to it since me owning it was me giving it a quick polish with the Kestrel DAS-6 a few month ago it was looking quite sorry for itself.

Pictures:

The paintwork was a little dull before and quite swirled I would say 60% of the swirling is gone now and its got a nicer colour to it now and is very smooth after the claying.

One of the things the MK2 ( and MK3 I think) is missing is gas bonnet struts so I've done this today.

Fitted

Colour coded

The SEAT touch up paint is quite "off" with the colour but hopefully it will get dirty and blend in

Just waiting on a gas strut now
