Anthracite Colour Code?

hi people, just wondering if anyone knows the colour codes for Anthracite colours, especially the Anthracite that comes on the megane cups. if any one could help me out it would be very helpful as iv had a search on the net and cant seem to find anything. i seem to be likeing the lighter shades of Anthracite rather than the darker ones iv seen.

from a few engqiries i made about refurbing one of my old 17" FR alloys there is no such colour code but apparently the Honda colour is a very close match.

My 'Anthrecite' wheel colour is actualy 'Ford Grey Metalic'. Its a lovely colour with a nice sparke to it.

yeah iv seen yours i like them alot, im in too minds to go for the colour you have or go for a colour slightly lighter, like the honda cosmic grey perl, any opinions on them colours or other colours would be great. thanks guys.

I have a few numbers given to me by the place that powder coated my wheels anthracite but there is no one colour as some people have it dark some people have it lighter. But most decent places will know what you want but always best to see how it looks really I got to see the paint on a set of Range Rover huge wheel before mine were done.

I was going to get my Sport wheels re-done, in a slightly darker silver colour, but the centre caps are plastic, so they'd need to be able to powdercoat and spray the same colour which I've heard is virtually impossible?

Have other people had this done with plastic centre caps?

I have just got cupra black centre caps match perfect but not sure what size they are to fit what wheels as bought them with the wheels second hand

You asking me? If so no way just forked out £80 to have one repaired thanks to a pot hole only had them 6 months.

S'ok see what you mean. I meant I know the cupra centre caps fit my wheels but nto sure what other wheels they fit as no centre caps will look terrible. vRS ones are quite tough to find believe me I was lucky to get mine. Plus if they have come straight from the Octavia the tyres are too high profile so have to buy a whole new set at profile 40

I dont know if this helps atall, but am pretty sure that Hondas colour is called 'Thunder Grey'

Well I have a page they printed out and it has the colour mixes and formula they are just numbers, it is not really a paint code as said anthracite is just a variant mix of metallics and grey really

I have some pics on my readers ride thread I think I need some better pics thou when they are polished up more and in the sun as they tend to change colour. Have look at some of the guys readers ride on here as they have pics and they have different shades to me as well see what you like
