Any advantage of using SFS oversized TIP on stock engine?

Long story short, my stock TIP got torn where the N75 plugs in so I need a replacement.

Is there any point of getting the SFS oversized version for a stock engine (LC 180bhp)?

Also, did anyone fit one (SFS regular or oversized)? Does it reach the MAF housing ok?
I've read some older topics where the fitment wasn't very good, the hose was a bit short.

I put one on when I changed the turbo, mainly because I fancied it rather than for any technical gain. You do get more turbo spool noise and I may be imagining it but I think it spools a bit quicker too. In terms of fitment, the oversize one is a nightmare to fit. After it's on the turbo it goes onto the MAF housing ok, doesn't line up perfectly but you can pull it over and get the jubilee clip on ok without bending it / kinking it too much. That's onto the standard airbox of course, if you have a cone then it won't be a problem you can add spacers / angled bits to suit whatever you want.

After its on it makes the whole area up to where the hockey puck, N75 and DV go on a bit more bulky. If you want to fit the engine cover again then you'll have to trim it down a bit.
