agreed jaimie ^^^^ , this thread has been a good read! but hang on a minute, the forge fmic is only gd for k03s? thank god i dint buy one :)

not just a k03s sorry, hybrid k03s, gt2x or K04 or anything around that power band....although I am sure I read sometime ago someone running a BT application with the Forge FMIC and it was working fine, but from what I have read I would think this is near the limit of it

however I would think anything beyond the 350 mark, then the likes of a PA kit is neeeded or custom/large Forge FMIC

I would be interested seeing logs of an Ebay one Vs a Forge one running on a mapped k03s

forge fmic is a bolt on for k03/k03s users and I guess the current hybrid users..

For 300+bhp, imho it is not what you want. Pipework and cores arrangement is too small. BUT, they did'nt design it for BT, but as a significant upgrade over the std smic, which is tiny, and inadequate on anything non-std (barely adequate on std also)

For alloy fabrication, to convert the core to single pass, you removed both end tanks and weld on new ones (made to suit), with whatever pipework size you want. AM boys changed to 63mm pipe, which is what I run effectively myself now (possibly inadequate for my current level, but more than enough for 99% of people)
