Any ideas whats causing this???

Basically id say 1 day out of 10 my Ibiza will play up its as though its slacking lol il put it into 3rd and it doesnt want to accelerate its like it wants to go but cant it runs sweet every other day lol i thought maybe fuel isnt gettin through or somethin??

Depends how weel serviced it is really and what mods you have done.

Sounds like its got an intermittent flat spot, so a general service is a good place to start

Does it make a difference whether it's damp or not when it plays up?

hhmmm iv never thought if its diff in the wet i cant think!! its got a full service history and a years mot ?

Make a note of whether it's wet next time it plays up. Chances are it's electrical if that's the case.
Full service history and MOT are nice to have but no guarantee the car is 100%.

When I bought my Ibiza it had a two week old MOT yet had a hole or ten in the exhaust and a broken front sping!!!

Get it booked in for a service at a good place. VW specialist.

In the mean time maybe run some STP cleaner through it with your next full tank of petrol.
