Dave theyre for my calipers to the hub fitment, so whatever you reccomend really.

Total length of thread is 40mm - then a shaft length of 25.5mm(same dia as the thread) So a total of ~65mm length from end to the head.

17mm hex head would be fine.

Thanks.

You need 4, Phil?
M12 has a 19mm hex head and usually 1.75 thread pitch - so 1.5 is Fine.

Is 19mm head and 1.5 ok?

So Dave, do you have an aftermarket turbo?
That's the thing, I'm running a K03S which I think is being pushed to its limits. The bottleneck is the turbine. There's an awful lot of heat trying to go through that little hole into the turbo. I have an ATP exhaust manifold which is taller than standard.

It deffo needs to be M12x1.5, i'm sure a 19mm hex would be ok tho. I only said 17mm as thats the standard head size on there at the moment. And yea, i need 4. Thanks. :D

With you now. I thought you might have a BT which might require a brace.

Indeed those ATP items are real thick. Have you contacted ATP so see what they recommend, or is it their bolts you broke?

Phil, I'm away the next two days helping my daughter move house in London. Mrs DPJ is getting prices for me - is it ok if I come back to you Wednesday, or do you need to sort earlier?

ATP bolts broke, I feel they have mis-specified.

Missed this thread again,

If possible try using brass bolts like used on manifolds, fail \ing that just use high quality stainless. Problem with 12.9 bolts and 800C is that the crystaline strucutre changes which causes the hardness to change.

RIBE or SD are big bolt manufacturers in europe, VW also uses Kamax, Textron now acument, ABC and several other manufacturers. Go to a good hardware store and they should be able to sort you out

dave i'll find out today if i need those bolts. So you might be seeing a PM from me. lol.

Can you get them in cap head if needed?

3 ATP Manifold bolts

David, I'll give you a set of new 12.9 grade bolts if you like, they are cap head - ie you drive them with an 8mm hex bit. You'd need a bit of ingenuity to fit the front one - I've checked and a short hex bit will go in under the back of the head.

I'm using A4 Stainless Steel Bolts that are hex head. I can get you a set of those for next weekend. 60p a bolt plus say £1 for postage.

cheers mate, the 12.9 should do the job, not to bothered about fitting issues as the tubo/manifold is actually coming off completly

dave, need those bolts now. lol.

M12x1.5 pitch. 60mm long now with a cap head. Shanked bolts not full thread please.

Thank yooooo. :D
