anyone had a new windscreen fitted recently?

hi all, just had a windscreen company round to fit a new windscreen due to a massive cold weather crack. when they turned up it was just a plan windscreen with no green top tint. now i like the green top tinted bit and said i wasnt happy with them putting that in and the guy told me they dont do the top tint any more. reguardless of what the guy told me i sent him away. now was he telling porkeys or has anyone else found the same?

Autoglass fitted a non green tint screen a few years ago to my Cupra, made them replace it with the correct one.

My partner had the screen in his MK2 Ibiza replaced just before christmas, replaced it with the same that was in there, no green tinting, unless the one before was wrong...

had mines replaced due to a crack... Normaly mines has factory black top shade tint.... Fitted a normal one with out a tint..(was cheaper).. didnt make no effect to me....

I personally would love to be ridded of my green tint at the top of my window, I think it looks a bit silly beside the blue paint..

i got one with a black tint about 6 months ago, much prefer prefer it. Had to send them away b4 i got the right one too

I just got a crack in mine from bloody massive pothole and becuase im only third party fire and theft Im gonna have to spend out £335 autoglass quoted me.... (is this tint only standard on a cupra?)

When I replaced mine through my insurance. Auto windscreens ordered a green tint one and fitted that. It took them a few days to get it in stock them came to my work and fitted it..
