Anyone in glasgow area enable auto windows

As title, anyone in glasgow area got the kit to enable auto windows on a Mk4 55 FR? Been trying for a couple of days with no joy as i only have a usb and not serial cable.

Any help or pointers appreciated.

You need a serial cable, not USB and a laptop with a serial port

Not 100% sure but it needs to be done in DOS. Would one of those work in DOS

has to be a native serial connection on mobo. might drag an old machine out at work, just need a serial to odb cable

Is auto windows when you can open them with the fob?

Whats the requirements, i've a 2004 1.2 MK4
