Ok I would like to add something here. I have a Revo stage 2 linear. I'm not quite sure how many others have, as it seems most that have posted are Revo stage 1.

Just to clarify, I don't think the 'throttle plate movement' thing is anything new, as on my custom code stage 1 I got full throttle at 75% throttle travel, which was removed too.

Now onto Revo stage 2 linear. A pretty hefty step up from custom code 1 I would say...big time. Was running my stage 1 for 5 years. Although regularly getting low torque on RR, always got high horsepower. Such a torque hike that within a week of it being on (map has been on 3 weeks) I booked the car in for rods. :)

During mapping/data logging my boost gauge was regularly into 1.9 spike and holding 1.65+ to around 6k. This was shocking as hell as this was on boost 8 I think. So we turned the boost down to 6 and I drove that for a week...this was still hitting 1.7spike and holding more than 1.5. So again I went back to adjust it further to protect them rods.
Look...

Now car is on boost 5 timing 4. The timing never changed from original map. Now the car spikes at just over 1.5 bar and holds 1.5. Which is a safety net really. Omg it's still a heap faster than my stage 1. Frickin flies. When boost was on 6 the 3rd and 4th gear pull was savage. Almost throwing me across the road.

I did write a mini review on my RR thread, this will be updated when my Rods are done and I'm on boost 9 :)

A little summary about the map. First and second are similar to stage 1 except (and this I'm not too keen on) you don't really feel the force until right at the top of the rev range in gear 2. Now the reason I didn't like this gear is because (if you drive like me) and sometimes you like to floor second, with this map your not getting the full 'pull' until 6k+ and should a vehicle pull in front of you or brakes, because your foot is planted, when I back off my foot has a looooong way to go which can reduce braking speed. Understand?

Other than that, 3,4,5,6 gears are great in mid to top range. But as I have yet to test the map fully it can be improved on. Oh and mpg? I'm getting better mpg than my standard car....why? Cos the car is off boost most of the time in town driving.

Get the map, it's great. Costs £50 more than regular stage 2 but you get the benefit of a better map plus your actually 'stage 2+)! The + makes all the difference. :)

is your boost gauge accurate?
I often see some gauges read higher than my dyno logger for example
thats seriously high boost for even a revo2 map

and for those intrigued by linear throttle... below is the std pedal map to show how non-linear it is as std.. and is easily altered map wise to make linear etc

Well on my stage 1 custom code it normally peaked at 1.5 bar and held 1.2 -1.3 bar. Instantly went up to this level after mapping.

Not too sure though bill they're Defi's so they should be quite accurate.
