are cupra and cupra r seats the same shape

are the cupra and cupra r seats the same shape,

im doing research into retrims etc,

heres some cupra ones

and cupra r

I'm pretty sure they are mate, the Golf Recaro's like mine would look really smart re trimmed there a lot more bucketed then the LCR seats.

sell the full r interior to replace with golf recaro's for retrim,change just the front seats or get mine recovered!!! dont know arrrrgghh

Golf Recaro's would look really smart I reckon, even the passengers is height adjustable and has lumbar support......and you can get heated versions

was it a direct fit? and are the airbag wires the same?

They are a direct fit.

Multiblocks were slightly different but same amount of wires.

Passenger seat wiring;

Loom Brown to Airbag Brown
Loom Blue to Airbag Blue
Loom White to Airbag Black

Drivers side;

Loom brown to airbag brown
Loom white to airbag blue
Loom green to airback black

Sounds like the LCR Recaro's, just with heat (not something I'm particularly bothered about on textile seats mind you... leather would be something else!)
