ashtray wont open

Not had a proper look at this but since today has decided to get stuck in the locked position and doesnt want to open.Anyone had this and a quick way to get it back open as repeatedly pressing it doesnt do anything

Hell, you a bit stuck, as the screw is only visible when it is open.

Sounds like you need to force it open and replace.

Managed to pop it open then remove it,the bloody spring on top had unhooked stopping the release mechanism from working so I have a working ashtray again
