OK, I want to fit EBC Redstuff front disc pads to my 300PS VZ2, the challenge being that EBC don't list them. I have the TRW calipers, not the Brembos.

I suspect the the Redstuff part number needed is: DP32127C.

EBC list Yellowstuffs: with this part number: DP42127R

Cross-referencing cars that use the Redstuff '127C also reveals Yellowstuff '127R fitments so I'm fairly certain that they are the same pad other than compound.

EBC not listing Redstuffs is curious - was the pad of choice for Audi RSQ3, low dust, no squeaks, great initial bite, resistance to fade and little disc wear. Perfect.

Has anyone done it?

When I've looked at the EBC website, it's come up with BlueStuff pads for the Cupra Ateca, on the basis of it being an SUV; therefore presumably heavier than, say, the Formentor or a Golf R.

Thanks Guy, I noticed that EBC only list Bluestuffs and yet there was a Redstuff fitment for the RSQ3 (both the earlier version with 8 pot calipers and the later with 6 pots). I've taken a gamble and ordered a set - I'd like to have the increased initial 'bite' of the Redstuffs with a lot less dust if its possible.

Also looking at drilled discs for purely aesthetic reasons too..:)

Update - the DP32127C pads do fit, and they are brilliant too, silent and almost no dust either.
Aftermarket brake pads sold in Europe (and increasingly other countries outside of Europe) need to be homologated/approved under ECE R90.
So each 'approved' pad will have a list of 'approved' vehicles.
If you are fitting a part number to an application where EBC haven't listed it - chances are its not approved, could be an issue in the hopefully unlikely event of an accident!
