Andy can you buy the drl units from dealers as a part and fit yourself? Id do it if with an oem type set for correct brightness and viewing angle of light output

yeah,

the dealers do a strip of DRL's that they can retrofit into the lower grill, with a mounting kit, but they want £170 ish to supply/fit, which i think is a bit steep to be honest mate

I'm not 100% sure mate, it was on a flyer in with my receipt from David Cook motors in Chaddy when I had my mot done last month.

I'll dig it out in morning and post a pic.

I think they are similar to those posted by Jarre on page 1 of this thread - post 13.
But they came on a mounting bracket that specifically fitted the Leon lower grills.
They are OEM accessory I think.

There aren't any angel eye versions for the Mk2 Leon ! You'd have to 'home brew' !
