Has anyone fitted tt injectors to a 180BHP cupra.
Just wondering how hard it is to do , if it makes a noticable difference and what prices are involved.
Want to find out before looking into bigger turbo.:D

I've been told that before getting remap etc i'm better off getting injectors, 4 bar FPR and an uprated turbo because stanard turbo is waste of time if i want a stage 2 remap as it will struggle to get above 230bhp.

So who gave you this gem of info?

if you're driving about in a 180bhp cupra moving to a stage 2 car will kick the crap out of it.

I don't know of anyone that has gone from std to turbo swap without running a remap in the middle

A new place in sheffield.
Mines running 190 at moment with 3" exhaust and decat, Pipercross induction and forge recirc valve and getting FMIC fitted at moment and they said if i wanting decent gain then need TT injector, 4 bar FPR, green temp sensor and then look at a turbo then a stage 2 remap with giac software

stage two is a second remap with other mods like you have you can see around 240 bhp if its a very good map
stage 3 is the bigger turbo did they tell you you will be needing a new clutch soon as well if you do that ( about 1 week ) then they will have you back getting more money from you for the clutch

stage two revo is quick belive me another thing missed off the list would be the maf off a lcr or s3 for the bigger turbo if you get revo stage two then decide to go for the big turbo it will only cost you to have the map changed not the same as paying for it again this is what i was told by kev from revo as i was asking about there stage 3 software month or so ago

10 bhp just from sensor, are you serious

i was joking mate hence the  i cant understand why you would need a green top sensor for tuning

all you need for a stage 2 map of any description is a decent turbo back exhaust, improve the air intake and an fmic is always good

if you want to go bigger turbo then go the whole hog, and buy a setup to match the turbo

maf sensore is around the 100 pounds mark and the temp sensor isnt going to do anything its just sometimes the standard ones are prone to failing can happen on standard car or remaped one

You seem to be aiming for a specific number in excess of 230bhp? what sort of power do you want and how much are you intending on spending?

Also your going straight to stage 3 with the mod's you list which is fine, with the right turbo and bigger MAF and a few other bits incl a new manifold and down pipe you could be looking at 320bhp. As I said all depends on your budget

The difference between a stage 1 and stage 2 remap is probably 10bhp so not earth shattering, however there are other benefits (power extended further in the rev range etc).

For stage 2 details from Revo including mod's required etc read this

Stage 3 is often referred to Big Turbo conversions, For stage 3 details from Revo including mod's required etc read this
