Aura Head Unit Default Setting

Hi,

I have a bog standard 04 TDi Cupra with the standard fit CD Changer and HU.

The display always shows 'CD x Track x' at first, and you have to hold '2' to change it to showing the track time counter.

Is there any way to make it so it starts with showing the counter without having to change it every time I turn it on?

scary, i have the manual and didn't even realise button 2 did that
i know button 5 is pause.

not quite what you after though, sorry. not seen it referenced anywhere.

No I know, been reading pages and pages of HU threads and VAG COM threads but at a loss.

I can't understand why the default view is set to that, the other one shows the CD and track and more, hmmm...

i looked into this but have not found a way to do this yet. it always switches back to default settings when powered off and back on. does the same with shuffle button.

just had a read through the Radio AURA Manual, no laughing at the back.
Nothing to say it is able to safe settings for the CD at all. Only for the PTY button and it doesn't cover CD Player other than the IGN function.

looks like your stuck with having to press 2 when you need to.
