nope but mine locks automatically after 20 seconds or so when parked and standing just outside the car lol

I thought i was imagining things...soglad you've sad that!!

I've noticed a few times when im messing about or something, the car locks itself!! Not sure about how it works, i.e. after a certain time as lapsed, do the keys have to be within transmitting range?! etc etc.

But i guess its a clever feature...untill my keys are actually inside the car!

Hmmm.

If you unlock your car from the remote key fob and do not open any doors then after a certain amount of time the central locking unit will recognise that the vehicle has been unlocked but not opened therfore will relock the vehicle.

However it doesnt look them if just left unattended and unlocked. MY gf thought it did in a multistory car park once when she had to go back to get something from the car. Me saying did you lock it. Reply from her it does it itself after a few seconds and my hands are full so couldnt push the button. Cue me grabbing the keys from her and sprinting up 6 flights of stairs! And she wonders why I wont let her drive it!

wasnt on about it locking itself if you dont open any doors!! was on about it locking when you drive off, anti car jacking type thing!!

locks over 15mph and unlocks when you remove the key!

nah u cant do it, i tried on mine wiv the VAG diag comp 5051B we have at work. u have to do it through convience system but u cant access it so its a no go.:(

mine locks on start up, and unlocks when i remove the key, altho mines fitted with an aftermarket alarm so not sure if thats got something to do with it
