They were as listed in the post I linked to, I think I've used all variations on the various cars and they all worked. My own Toledo uses the four individual numbers, the Leon's and Ibiza's use one or the other of the set of three.

The only car I didn't get working was a later Leon, but that was because it was the newer CANBUS and the lead didn't even work.

well i was told to change them from 10 - 2 and it hasnt worked just have to see if anybodu has any update with my ccm part number

Daft question time, did you hold the button down for a couple of seconds? It's not an instant thing, it's either 1 or 2 seconds before the windows move, and you have to keep the button held down all the time while it's moving otherwise they'll stop.

That's a good point, you do have to hold the key button down a vshort while.

Do you have access to the standard VAGCOM or VCDS? If you can go in there, go to the convenience module and get the part number it lists. At least then you can double check what numbers you're meant to be changing.

Although to be fair I think you're on the right ones. What I found was that the numbers that weren't in use were usually 0, so the fact that they started at 10 suggests they are the right ones.

You need to get yourself to Wolverhampton, and I'll sort it for you! :)

So who on here other than red panda has got this working? This is what I've got so far:

Method: cardiagnostics.be/now/VAS%205052_bestanden/Windows%20roll%20up%20with%20VDS.htm
-with the coding for MY model year 2003 & definately 6Q0..E comfort module, this is almost certainly to me the reason why Jamie8954 can't get theirs to work as it's a facelift 6Q2.. CCM. I'm sure I heard this somewhere? along with being non-cruise control retro-fittable :s

Cable: ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300504731496&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
-again redpandas precise £7 cable! with a blue led when it's plugged in.

My issue here is complete non-communication with any adresses, so Engine 01, convenience 46 etc. The 409.1 vagcom it comes with works fine, can read fault codes and accessed address -46 absolutley fine. So I'm pointing to the software, I'm using a computer with 1 COM port, so settings are com port 1 and 9600 baud rate (although it trys others to no success). Could anyone point me towards a working VDS or if there's another setting to adjust anywhere? Cant find a worked solution for this on any forum hence the question!

Dumb question time. (I had a search...really did)....

Where do we find out what Convenience Module we have? Is it found in vds-pro ?

Degenatron - I need your email addy! I'll try to help you if I can but need it to send you an app.

BTW - This is a working link for the website in Degenatron's post:

Can't quote a link!

A good email's [email protected] (couldn't see how to PM?!) So other than the software what else could it be?
Running the program through XP/DOS makes no difference it seems, so maybe some more details of what any settings were that worked for you would be great. Should be clear sailing once I can login to 46 :D
