Aux port fitting

Anyone know if I can fit the Aux port into my Ibiza. Come in newer models and I got one ages ago from srappies, need to know if I could wire it In and use it for my iPod, headunit is an alpine 9886r , iPod support doesn't work on iPhone so this would be ideal if it could be done

dunno if you can buy the centre plastic housing off the newer models and wire up the aux port into your existing loom...best to PM Steve (st10587)
