awful noise

i fitted my strut bar three days ago and have noticed to day when sat at the lights that there is a awful noise. i persume its off the engine cover rubbing with bar. has any one else had this proble or any ideas how to overcome it?

It's probably the air filter housing rubbing against the strut brace. Quite a common problem i believe.

My engine cover rubbed like a *******. At first I modded the cover, then just removed it all together! See in my thread on page 3 (link in sig)

I originally put my strut brace on a couple of washers to raise it up, but scrapped that in the name of handling so now just put up with it or sometimes remove the cover as it doesn't always happen.

Put a bit of foam pipe lag around the strut brace BMX stylee
