Hey, just posting this because im so annoyed, Anyway here goes, as you all probably know its been unbelivebly windy today.
I was having a good day as i work at the airport and hardly any planes landing (no planes no work) and it was fun to watch the ones that were attempting it, anyway finished work got home, sitting and having some lunch and part of someones roof and gutter happened to fly past my window and hit my 2006 Ibiza sport right above the side rear window. Could'n't believe, Big dent and about five deep scratches. My car was immac before that happened. And to top it off i thought i could go through insurance for the damage caused by the weather and found out il loose my no claims for something nobody has done, how bad is that. Guna have to pay for it myself. Gota go get some quotes tmrw, not guna be cheap

the person / insurance company responsible for the building that the gutter came from is liable to pay

Thats a right shitter - hope you get it sorted quick smart!

Mine got buggered today as well - front bumper and bonnet now left with 7 dents no less thanks to my neighbour's bloody garage tiles flying off their house.

Gonna go through their insurance. O well...life and all that...

Blimey, 7 , i got it lightly then. Weve jus found out its from my nxt door neighbours back, flew over the roof and landed with force on the car. Guna go see him when he gets home from work and can hopefully go through there insurance then

As Mork said, the Owner of the property has a legal liability to pay for damages that are caused by his property . His House Insurance with have legal liability cover, suggest you get a letter worded and sent to him, with estimates for repair to speed up the process
